Nasty Gal Haul: Fall Finds On A Budget
I used to hate online shopping, until now.
I always felt like online stores had the same clothing items and styles just at different price points. If you follow my blog, or my Instagram, you know that I’m not exactly a fan of having the same clothing items as every other girl in the South. When I saw one of Nasty Gal’s LA blogger campaigns on Instagram, I was very intrigued.
It wasn’t my first time of hearing about Nasty Gal though - I heard a lot about Sophia Amoruso, the founder and CEO of Nasty Gal, from her journey as an Ebay store to a multi-million dollar American retailer. Sophia has helped redefine what a “Girl Boss” is to younger generations by showing her true personality and spunk, rather than a woman in a conservative suit minding her p’s and q’s. Her story of creating a business and being her true self simultaneously was mesmerizing and I wanted to support her, but at the time Nasty Gal was not having a sale and I couldn’t justify the cost at my budget.
During Nasty Gal’s 50% off sale (still happening), I bought 6 items for just a little over $100 and I’m hooked. All of their clothing is unique - whether it be a twist on a trend or just a fun statement piece that looks like it’s straight from a vintage shop. Even my parents commented on how they loved some of the clothes! They were also glad to know that Nasty Gal is a clothing store and not some explicit store that their daughter is buying clothes from (haha).
Below are some photos, a video haul (a little less than 4 minutes), and links to the items that I bought. You can best believe that I’ll be ordering more in the near future!
